MTO's Annual Bass Tournament

MTO's founder, Bill Alexander has been conducting his own tournament for fellow anglers over the past 7 years and he looks at this event much like we view our New York State Fair. 

It symbolizes that the end of the year is near and its an event that is based on "just having fun"!

This year, Bill's tournament will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2011.

REGISTRATION:

Sign-in and registration is at Marion Manor Marina from 6AM until 7AM and/or tournament launch.

The tournament & main launch will be conducted out of Marion Manor Marina. 

The marina site is located at the crossroads of State Route 31 and State Route 13 in Canastota, on the south-eastern corner of Oneida Lake.  The marina telephone number is 315-762-4810. 

Each boat/team will be treated as a single entity.  There is no age limit for your non-boater partner.

A brief meeting covering the activities, launching options, etc., will be held prior to launch.

Actual launching is tentatively scheduled from Safe-Light until 3:30PM.

ENTRY FEE:  ENTRY fee is; $110.00 per boat.

PURSE:  Payout will be distributed as follows, 50% of the $100 Entry fee will be paid to the 1st Place boat.  The balance will be paid down to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place finishers respectively.

LUNKER:  ($10.00) Ten dollars of your Entry fee will be put into a pool for Lunker's of the day.  We will pay 50% of the (Lunker pool) for the biggest Largemouth, and 50% for the biggest Smallmouth!

WEIGH-IN:  The official weigh-in will be conducted at Marion Manor Marina.

FOOD, DRINKS:  FREE ... hot dogs, coffee, etc., will be available.
